Hi Ranjith,

Step 1. Configure launchpad.

Step 2. Find the roles from App Catalog

Step 3. Assign the roles to users

Step 4. Test and troubleshoot

Hey Masa,

we've setup Fiori for PPM and it worked like a charm. However, after creating a new client on the system using the client copy feature (client 100 was created as a copy of client 010), the catalogs are not available in the Fiori launchpad of the new client. Of course the respective PFCG roles have been assigned to the users in client 100 as well and it still works fine in client 010.

Any idea? I've deleted all caches that I know of.

Thanks & regards

Hi Wolfgang,

Did you create a new RFC connection on the backend to reflect the new client number?

Hello Alvin,

the Fiori UI and backend are the same system. The system alias "LOCAL" uses RFC Destination "NONE".

Meanwhile, I made it that the catalog and its tiles is available, however, the labels for both the catalog and the tiles are missing in either language DE and EN. It works fine on client 010 but labels are missing on client 100.

I've deleted the UI2 cache, applied the newest notes for this, however, it still doesn't work.

Regards

Wolfgang

Hi Sekihara San,

Thanks for your confirmation.  We are using SAP NetWeaver 7.40 and based on the note description 1957334 - Corrections for SAP NetWeaver UI Add-On 1.0 SP08

may not be applicable to us.

Hi Ranjith,

Are you asking how you can get the SAP Fiori Launchpad to populate a tile for each Fiori application? If so, please read this:

Just to clarify - the Fiori Launchpad is the replacement to the original Fiori launch page.
