Using UI5 Inbox for Workflow?

Hi all,

   I like to use a UI5-Inbox for my workitems. The basic idea is, to use a UI5-Inbox similar to an Business-Workplace-Inbox, because the users don't like to login in SAP but using a modern inbox.

Here my questions:

1. Is there at last a SAPUI5 inbox avaible out of the box? Friom which SAP release on?
2. If the question 1.) can be answered with YES: How can I set up a UI5 Inbox? Which steps are necessary?
3. Which requirements must a workitem fulfill, if it should be executed out of a UI5 inbox?

Hi All,

     I can start the Unified Inbox with the following URL
http://<server>:<port>/sap/bc/bsp/iwpgw/tgw_unif_inbox/index.htm and the login-scee appears.

After logging in, the Unified Inbox seem to be started, but only the header and nothing else is displayed.

Is there any customizing to do, to display workitems?

The idea is, to display all workitems in my inbox, or at least, those of a certain workflow.

Can you give some hints?

Hi Elmar,

Unified inbox fetches workitems details from /sap/opu/odata/IWPGW/TASKPROCESSING service version 2.

Is there any blog post regarding steps required to setup this unified inbox? It would be nice if we have a post which states what all steps required to set up this in Gateway side as well as front end side.

Hi Elmar,

There is SAP Fiori Approve Request App.

• Approve Requests - SAP Fiori Apps - SAP Library

With Approve Requests, user see number of workitems per scenario in launchpad. It is not inbox style. IT teams likes inbox style but real business users like tile style per scenario.
