OIGN and IGN1 templates - DTW

Former Member

Hello all,

I am doing a test run to import Inventory opening balances using OIGN and IGN1 templates without luck. I am getting the error: 10000111 - On "contents" tab, enter item or items Application-defined or Object-defined error 65171.

DTW version 88.1.6

API Version: 8.81.314

Could there be a mismatch of versions or what's the issue? The files are attached.

Kind Regards,

Henry

Thank you all for your input, my date format and warehouse formats are correct. I used the original templates and was able to import. My only problem is, I have three rows in my IGN1 template, but the DTW is importing only one row - the top row.

Hi Henry,

The line num should start with 0.

For Ex.

Header:

1.............................

2............................

Line

1 0(linenum).....................

1 1...........................

1 2..............,,,,,

2 0(linenum)...................

2 1..................... and so on.

Check if the templates are like this..

Thanks,

Joseph

Hi Henry,

Please refer SAP notes:

865191 - DTW Troubleshooting Guide.

2.2)When importing one of this error or similar occurs: "Customer record not
found: Application-defined or object-defined error 65171"

This is a general error which does not indicate a specific problem. One of
these steps might solve the issue:

  • A column has been removed that the DTW needs (even if it’s left empty), like
the LineNum column which is used during update. We recommend do not
    delete
    columns from templates.
  • When importing into a UDF or UDT this could be caused due to the order of
the fields in the template or a bad template. Exchange the order of column
“FieldID” with “TableID”. Make sure the correct templates have been generated
    including the current UDFs.
  • Check all values that are being imported and try to figure out which one
could be causing the issue by process of elimination.

Hope helpful.

Thanks & Regards,

Hi Henry,

What is the type of file that you have selected to import in DTW?

Check for the lines and document if you can see Mapping rules? If not, there is something wrong with the template.

I would advise you to use the template that you would find under SAP--> DTW-->Sample Templates.

Thanks,

Joseph

Hi Henry,

Is the template same version of DTW?

Always use the template from the current version of DTW. The template format has changed  starting from the version 8.8 and older template are not compatiable.

Hope helpful
