cost center and Internal Order

what is the difference between the cost center and the internal order?

when you post a material how it is updated in the profit center?

Hi,

both are CO-objects, cost centers normally follow your organisation while orders are used for some "projects,..." for limited time.

Material consumption: the stock posting profit center is the one from material master, the consumption profit center is the one from the Co-object master data thats posted.
