Is there any year end activity for PM Module?

Additions to above.

- Update any facory calendars

- Update Annual Estimates for measurement points

- Review task list planned resources (labour, materisl etc)

- Reschedule maintenance plans where necessary

Hi,

that totally depends how is your structure. In PM we are mainly concerned about the settlement recievers like WBS, open PRs or POs generated from work orders with account assignment category F.Also about the issueing of stock materail in old WBS or In new one which is going to update in next financial year. below are some of activities i planned for my client. May be helpful to you.

Year End Activities For SAP PM Moduile

1 WBS Elements for the technical Object - Funtional location and Equipment to be changed

2 "All the Maintenance orders for which there are open PRs and POs, their

status to be finalised if they are not carry forward to next financial year "

3 "Internal Stock material issue through maintenance order fo the time the financial updating is not complete. or till the WBS element for Technical objects would be changed."

4 Generation of new maintenance orders , when it should be started

5 "Old maintenance orders with components still on the order and are not issued

from the stock , action to be discussed."

6 Schduling of maintenance plan with components attached with task list to be discussed.

All are mandatory. Its totally depend on your business process. See what from your cliet perspetive is mandetory. All the points are mandetory for me cause my all WBS will change, no last year budjet or commitments are going to carry forward in next financial year. so you decide what is mandeotry for your process.
