SIM211 Web Services Security Interoperability Using SAP NetWeaver and Microsoft .NET
Web services security (WS-Security) is a specification to enable security for Web services, specifically through message integrity, message confidentiality, and single message authentication. This session will provide an overview of the programming models used to build standard-based, secure Web services in SAP NetWeaver and the Microsoft .NET Framework. The main focus will be a live demonstration on how to implement a secure solution including both platforms, based on a real-world business scenario. As a mixture of lecture and demonstration, this session will give you practical, hands-on advice on secure and interoperable programming, including techniques for troubleshooting and debugging in an SOA environment.
