The University and Academic Competence Centers IN EUROPE, THE MIDDLE EAST AND AFRICA
The SAP University Alliances program in the Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) has established University Competence Centers (UCCs) and Academic Competence Centers (ACCs) to eliminate the need for individual universities to make large investments in technical infrastructure and operational staffing.
The UCC and ACC locations are as follows:
SAP UCC Magdeburg
SAP UCC Magdeburg has been hosting SAP solutions for research and teaching since 2000. Initially providing services for German institutions of higher education and vocational schools, in 2007 they expanded to include other in EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) region. Today, over 200 UA members Magdeburg's UCC services including universities in South Africa, Russia, Norway, Egypt, and other countries.

SAP UCC Munich

SAP UCC Munich started in 2003 and is hosting SAP solutions for over 200 customers located worldwide. Above that the SAP UCC Munich provides application support for all hosted solutions as well as educational services in different areas. The UCC is located at Technische Universität München. In 2014 the SAP UCC Munich became the first University Competence Center worldwide certified for SAP Hosting Services and HANA Operations Services and was announced as SAP Big Data Innovation Center.

SAP ACC St. Petersburg provides full-scale support to UA members in Russia and CIS countries. It is supporting curriculum localization for CIS members and organizes TERP10 certifications.

SAP ACC Valais

SAP ACC Switzerland started in 1996 and has been hosting SAP Solutions for teaching and research. The ACC Switzerland is located at the University of Applied Sciences in Western Switzerland at Sierre. Initially providing services for Swiss institutions of higher education, they expanded to other countries like France and Liechtenstein since the year 2000. Today, over 90 UA members in France, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, North Africa, Singapore, Israel and Brazil are working with us.

SAP ACC Vienna
SAP ACC Vienna has been hosting SAP solutions for research and teaching since 2000. The ACC Vienna is providing SAP clients with chart of accounts attuned to Austria. Customers are as well universities as advanced technical colleges.
