The SAP Digital Boardroom VR Experience: Now for Everyone!

Virtual reality: it’s everywhere. It was the hot theme at this year’s SXSW, the popular annual film, interactive and music festival where Twitter was first launched. Earlier this year, Deloitte predicted that 2016 would be the year that enterprise applications of VR would begin to surface. The future is already here ladies and gentlemen and the SAP Analytics Product Marketing team is excited to announce the launch of our very own VR experience, now available on the Google Play and Apple App stores!

The next generation in analytics and boardroom technology demands a next-generation experience. To showcase the power of the SAP Digital Boardroom, we’ve created an immersive demo that takes users into a futuristic virtual meeting. Forget about stale PowerPoints and imagine the possibility of real-time data being used to power an entire organization. The SAP Digital Boardroom’s impressive dashboards are exactly that, providing total transparency and instant, data-driven insights.

We debuted the experience earlier this year at SXSW, which started many exciting conversations and made SAP’s first time at the event a huge success. From the moment they slipped on the Samsung Gear VR headset, attendees were transported to a visionary analytics environment and the most intense board meeting of their life.
