Tray-Like User Interface for Central Contracts
The details of Central Contract is displayed in tabs and hence user will have to navigate from one tab to another to view all the details. There is no mechanism to view all the details in one page.
This feature provides a new user interface(UI) for Central Contract. This new UI displays all the details such as Overview, Header, Item, Attachment, Notes etc as an expandable and collapsible trays. User can arrange blocks below each other and next to each other either by changing the personalized setting or by dragging and dropping. Also standard fields from any building block can be hidden without modifications. Thus this new UI helps the user to avoid vertical scrolling to view various sections in Central Contract.

To use the feature, you have to first activate the Business Function SRM_CONT_IMPR_3 and then activate the Customizing switch Tray-Like User Interface for Central Contracts(SRM_703_TRAY_UI) under SRM Server-> Cross-Application Basic Settings->User Experience->Activate/Deactivate Tray-Like User Interface for Central Contracts.
Following new Roles are created to support this feature:
With this role, Manager can view and work on the new user interface for central contract. Corresponding Portal role: Manager – EHP3 (com.sap.pct.srm.core.ro_manager_ehp3_1)
With this role, Operational Purchaser can view and work on the new user interface for central contract. Corresponding Portal role: Operational Purchaser – EHP3 (com.sap.pct.srm.core.ro_operationalpurchaser)
Wih this role, Strategic Purchaser can view and work on the new user interface for central contract. Corresponding Portal role: Strategic Purchaser – EHP3 (com.sap.pct.srm.core.ro_strategicpurchaser)
