Tags:

There are two ways to Create a Business User on SAP Cloud for Customer, via Service Agents or via Employees, doing the following steps:

  1. Log in the System on Silverlight Client;
  2. Administrator Workcenter;
  3. Users View;Employees Sub-View;
  4. New > Employee
  5. Fill in all the relevant information - Let's say the name is USER;
  6. Save;
  7. After saving the USER will be already available on the Business User Sub-View in both Application and User Management and Administrator Workcenter's.
  8. Edit > Attributes;
  9. On Attributes, you can select the basic information about the user like: Email address, company, manager, the user ID and more important, you can Generate Password on Actions > Generate Password;
  10. This password will be the initial one for this user and it will be changed in the first login.
  11. Edit > Access Rights;
  12. Here you can select the Workcenters and Views the user will have access to, as well as further access restrictions that can be based on the Organizational Unit the user is located, per example.

It can also be done in HTML5 after the 1502 Release of Cloud for Customer:

  1. Log in the System in HTML5;
  2. (Beta) Administrator Workcenter;
  3. Business Operations View;
  4. Employees;
  5. New > Employee;
  6. Fill in all the relecant information - Let's say the name is USER;
  7. Save;
  8. Back to (Beta) Administration Workcenter;
  9. Security and Compliance View;
  10. Business User;
  11. The Employee USER will be available
  12. Edit > Attributes;
  13. On Attributes, you can select the basic information about the user like: Email address, company, manager, the user ID and more important, you can Generate Password on Actions > Generate Password;
  14. This password will be the initial one for this user and it will be changed in the first login.
  15. Edit > Access Rights;
  16. Here you can select the Workcenters and Views the user will have access to, as well as further access restrictions that can be based on the Organizational Unit the user is located, per example.
