Broadcast Resolution: SMP SP04: The UserID or password is invalid. Try Again - getEndpoint#No endpoint with name SAPXXXX was found#null (Agentry Application)


To All SAP Mobile Platform and Agentry application users,

SAP Global Services and Support (GSS - One Service) tries to be proactive in giving resolutions out to the customer to be readily available before the need arises.

Based on some internal and external installation of SAP Work Manager or Service Manager or Inventory Products, the KBA article below will help users with upgrade issues from SMP 3.0 SP03 to SMP 3.0 SP04.


  • We have upgraded SMP 3.0 SP03 to SP04
  • During this activity we moved the Agentry application (ex: Service Manager 4.1 or Work Manager 6.1) to SMP 3.0 SP04
  • Connecting to the SMP server from the Agentry Client and getting the following error "The User ID or password is invalid. Try again"
  • From the servername-smp-server.log error: " endpoint with name SAPCRMSM was found#null#614#null#0#null"
