Does the SAP NetWeaver BW administration and modeling change?
BW administration can continue as before with the same SAP NetWeaver BW tools, although the workload will be reduced because of simpler data models, less complex LSA modeling (LSA++), the elimination of aggregates and reduced query tuning. However, customers are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the modeling, monitoring and administration capabilities in SAP HANA .
In addition, as BW on HANA allows also to run HANA data mart operations on the same box in addition to BW operations, BW admin resources will require SQL capabilities, and any other languages skills used by applications run side by side with BW on HANA.

Can we perform a system copy for a BW on HANA system using backup and recovery?
Yes, please see OSS note 1709838 for details. The default schema, SAP<SID>, can not be changed to a customer chosen name, as there is currently no rename schema expression available within the SQL reference of HANA.
