SAP BusinessObjects Explorer on BW on HANA

Does BW on HANA support SAP BusinessObjects Explorer Accelerated the same way as BW 7.3 with BWA 7.2?

SAP BusinessObjects Explorer for BW on HANA is based on the HANA architecture, not on the BWA architecture anymore. The SAP BusinessObjects Explorer on BW on HANA leverages HANA’s own repository, its modeling capabilities and security model. HANA views are created directly on the underlying tables of BW InfoProvider as BW sits on HANA. The design is based on the metadata of BW InfoProviders.

The major difference between “SAP BusinessObjects Explorer, accelerated (with BWA)” and “BW/HANASAP BusinessObjects Explorer” is, that HANA has its own modeling environment (BWA/SAP BusinessObjects Explorer has not). The HANA modeling tool is aware of the capabilities of the HANA engine and is enhanced as the engine capabilities advance.

SAP BusinessObjects Explorer integration for BW on HANA is based on the BW model & HANA model interoperability.

Which BW InfoProviders are supported with SAP BusinessObjects Explorer? Do all SAP BW InfoProviders with SAP BW on HANA automatically become available in SAP BusinessObjects Explorer?

SAP BusinessObjects Explorer on BW on HANA leverages HANA’s own repository, its modeling capabilities and security model. HANA views are created directly on the underlying tables of BW InfoProviders as BW sits on HANA. The design is based on the metadata of the SAP BW InfoProviders.
