SAP Work Manager 6.1 has just been released on 06/20/2014 and is built on SMP 3.0. SAP Work Manager is a comprehensive mobile solution for the automation of asset management and field service processes. Regardless of connectivity, it allows remote employees to access, complete and manage their assigned work orders and service requests via mobile devices. They have SAP® ERP data readily available including operations, task lists, short and long text, repair histories, and material availability. Armed with more information, employees work smarter, have more work time, improve their first-time fix rates and extend asset lives by conducting more preventative maintenance. The mobile app accesses the SAP Enterprise Asset Management (SAP EAM) application and empowers your workforce with everything needed to efficiently install, inspect, maintain and repair assets in the field from mobile devices. SAP Sales Manager gives sales professionals access to SAP through a mobile device, with or without network access. Using the SAP Sales Manager Client application, sales professionals can retrieve accounts, activities, opportunities, and leads assigned to them from the SAP system. With the SAP® Rounds Manager mobile app, operators, engineers, and technicians can identify potential issues and take immediate action by generating work orders and notifications on the spot – before they result in an incident or failure. Perform rounds and inspections with a mobile device to increase accuracy and frequency. Get more out of routine condition monitoring, meter reading, and measurements, whether in the plant or in the field. Rounds Manager allows for monitoring points to be grouped into rounds. Technicians can easily download multiple rounds of measurements, as well as points for a specific piece of equipment. Technicians are given all the information they need to perform their rounds, including the equipment number, unit of measure, upper and lower limits, and measurement history for each point.
