HowTo get two text columns

Tags:

The detail window descriptor class CL_VBC_MAP_OBJECT_DETAILS supports a one and a two column layout. The one column layout is the default. You can switch to the two column layout by calling method

LV_DETAILS->SET_COLUMN_STYLE( LV_DETAILS->CO_COLUMN_STYLE_DOUBLE ).

You can also switch the layout back to a single column with

LV_DETAILS->SET_COLUMN_STYLE( LV_DETAILS->CO_COLUMN_STYLE_SINGLE ).

With this the content of the second column is automatically deleted.

When adding content to the detail window you need to specify the column. This holds for text as well as for links:

LV_DETAILS->ADD_LINE( IV_COLUMN = 1 IV_TEXT = 'Some Street 11' ). "#EC NOTEXT

*

LV_DETAILS->ADD_LINE( IV_COLUMN = 2 IV_TEXT = 'Another Street 1' ). "#EC NOTEXT

LV_DETAILS->ADD_INTERNAL_LINK( IV_COLUMN = 2 IV_TEXT = 'Hit me!'

   IV_FCODE = 'HIT' ). "#EC NOTEXT

If you try to add content to the second column in single column mode the call is ignored.
