Big Data and Spatial Analytics Help Germany Score in the World Cup
Aside from great talent, exceptional teamwork, and dedicated training, the German national football team took advantage of Big Data and used SAP technology to train for the world cup. With the help of the SAP Match Insights solution, the team analyzed matches by processing vast amounts of data to help players improve their performance. Coaches would analyze performance metrics, such as player speed, position, and possession time, and then provide feedback to players to help them improve their game.

Exploring Shark Week with SAP Lumira Software
Sunday was the beginning of the popular “Shark Week” on the Discovery Channel. This program is the longest-running cable television programming event in history and was created to raise awareness and respect for sharks. The DataViz team wanted to join in the shark fun and raise awareness for these wonderful creatures of the sea.
In a distribution warehouse, work can stop when a product isn’t where it needs to be. That can increase costs and plague service. The Charmer Sunbelt Group believes it can improve business commitments and strengthen relationships with the brands it carries by using data analytics, one bottle at a time.
