What search capabilities are available on SAP Product Stewardship Network?

There is a magnifying glass symbol in the toolbar on the left-hand side of the screen. It allows you to search for:

  • Companies
  • My Connected Suppliers
  • My Connected Customers

Do I receive email notifications in case I have a new notification in my Product Stewardship Network inbox?

This depends on your personal settings. On the top right hand corner of the screen you can open your user profile. In the Settings tab of your profile you can choose how frequently you want to receive e-mail updates about activity on SAP Product Stewardship Network.

How can I change my password?

Please navigate to the Product Stewardship Network login page and click the Forgot password link. You will then be able to set a new password. Please note that this password is then also valid for SAP Service Market Place or SAP Community Network (depending on where you have registered in the past).

While registering at SAP Product Stewardship Network I was not asked for a password. Where can I set my password?

In case you have not been asked for a password during the registration process, the system has recognized you based on the email adress you used for registration. The reason for that is that you have registered at some other SAP platform in the past (e.g. SAP Service Market Place or SAP Community Network) using the same email address. In this case a password is already associated with this email adress and you use the password that you use for the other platform (SAP Service Market Place or SAP Community Network) also SAP Product Stewardship Network. If you do not remember that password, simply request a new password. To do so, navigate to the Product Stewardship Network login page and click the Forgot password link. You will then be able to set a new password. Please note that this password is then also valid for SAP Service Market Place or SAP Community Network (depending on where you have registered in the past).

Registration & System Access

How do I register for SAP Product Stewardship Network?

There are two starting points for a registration:
a) If you have been invited by a customer to join SAP Product Stewardship Network via an email invitation from PSN, simply use the registration link in the email and follow the registration steps. You will automatically be connected to the company that has invited you to join the network.
b) If you have not received an email invitation from PSN, you can register by opening the registration page here and follow the registration steps. You will have no pre-established connections to business partners.

I registered for the wrong scenario. How can I change it?

You can simply add a new scenario by going to the Choose Scenario Quick Activity on the left side of the screen. By activating the desired scenario, this scenario is added to your account and you can switch to it via the Choose Scenario Quick Activity whenever you wish.
An activation link can only be used once. If you have not received one, you can request a new activation link by clicking on Forgot Your Password? on the log on page. An email with a new activation link will be sent to you.

Please note that the activation link is for single use only, Should the activation link sent to you not work, navigate to the log on page and click on "Forgot your password?". A new activation link will be sent to your email address. After activating your account, you will be prompted to set your password. Once you have set your password, your account is activated.

I have registered on SAP Product Stewardship Network. What do I need to do next?

We highly recommend that you additionally register for the community. The community is our preferred communication and support channel. To register on the community, simply click Register at the top of this screen and follow the registration steps.
Additionally make sure you are connected to the business partners (i.e. customers or suppliers) you would like to work with on SAP Product Stewardship Network. You need to be connected to exchange data on SAP Product Stewardship Network.

Why do I also need to register on the community?

The community is our support channel and also the preferred way to communicate news to you. You are able to view community content without registration. However, to be able to submit support questions or start discussions, you will need to have a registered account.

How can I reset my password for SAP Product Stewardship Network?

You can reset your password for SAP Product Stewardship Network by clicking the Forgot Your Password? link on the logon page.

I am responsible for more than one company, which company do I register for?

If you have been invited to join SAP Product Stewardship Network and you use the registration link in the email invitation, the company name will be displayed to you during registration. Please register the company you have been invited for and do not overwrite the company name that is displayed to you (unless it is incorrect).
You can set up another account for any other company you are responsible for, but please note that you need another email address for any additional registration. SAP Product Stewardship Network supports only one registration per email address. If you have not received an invitation email for your other company, please use the generic registration link .

I´m receiving reminder emails to register, although I have registered.

In this case you most probably have not completed your registration. Please log on to PSN and read the text of the screen you are seeing carefully: In case the system prompts you to choose a scenario, please choose Sustainability Assessment. Afterwards you need to fill in your user information and company information. Only after having filled in your user and company information, your registration is complete.

Company profile


How do I edit my company's profile?

To edit your company´s profile, simply click on the company name in the top right-hand corner of the screen. Your company profile opens and can be edited.

How can I upload a logo to my company profile?

To upload a company logo, click on the company name at the top of the screen. In the Company Information area on the left-hand side select Edit. You will then be able to upload a logo. Don´t forget to save your changes.

How can I change my contact information?

To edit your contact information, click on the company name at the top of the screen. In the Contact Information area on the left-hand side select Edit. Change your data and save your changes.
Please note: Although this changes the contact information linked to your account, it does not change your user name or mail address. To change which person is responsible for your account, please contact PSN support.

Network

Is my network visible to other users in SAP Product Stewardship Network?

No, your network connections cannot be seen by others. This is only visible to you

Notifications

Notifications remain in the HOME work center after I have read them. How can I delete them?

It is correct that notifications remain in the HOME work center after you have read them. They will not be deleted automatically. To remove notifications, click the Delete notification button for the corresponding notification.

When do I receive a notification?

You receive a notification when

  • You have been invited to take surveys
  • You have just joined the network
  • You have received a product declaration request
  • A component declaration request you have sent has been updated
  • A new component declaration has been published, restricted to you
  • A company sends you a connection request
  • A company confirms or declines your connection request
  • A supplier you have invited joins the network
  • Regulatory content has been updated

SAP Product Stewardship Community

I can read the community posts, but I´m not able to post content myself. Why is that?

You can only create content when you are logged in. Please make sure, you are logged in, by checking the status on top of the screen. In case you don´t have an SCN user, you have to register first.

I don´t have a user for SAP Community Network (SCN). How can I register?

Use the Register link on top of the screen. Please ensure that you use your SAP Product Stewardsship Network credentials (password and email-address) for registering at SCN. In case you want to register at SCN before registering at SAP Product Stewardship Network, choose a Display name and enter your First Name, Last Name and your email-addressand finish the registration. You will then receive a P-user. Make sure you use the same data afterwards for registering at SAP Product Stewardship Network.

Scenarios on PSN

What is the meaning of the different scenarios?

The PSN is an open platform to enable different activities within the context of supply chain communication and collaboration. The information being distributed and shared can belong to different domains, e.g. chemical compliance on product level or company wide sustainability assessments. These domains are called scenarios in PSN and are accessible right after the login page.

How can I switch beetween different PSN Scenarios?

When you log on PSN you can select which Scenario you like to work with. Being logged-in you can switch to other Scenarios by using Change Scenario in the Quick Activities on the left  side of the screen.
