Indirect Evaluation: An Alternative Implementation
Indirect valuation module is used to determine value of a wage type based on different parameters.Typically these parameters are pay scale parameters from Basic Pay Infotype (Infotype 0008). For India, it is INVAL module which depends on these pay scale parameters and on employee subgroup grouping for collective agreement provision (ESG for CAP) - collectively called Allowance Grouping or ALGRP. However, indirect valuation of wage type could work using other parameters also, like personnel area or age of the employee. This document describes how to achieve such an implementation with technical details and an example.
