Process Modeling With BPMN, Part 4 - The Cool Part of BPMN - Events!

In this eLearning session you will learn about the thing that makes BPMN special - events. We'll discuss the meaning of various types of events in BPMN, which ones represent internal signals versus external signals, and focus on the event types that you really need to know: timer, message, error, and the one with no signal at all, called None. We'll see how those are used in start, end, and intermediate events, and how subprocesses can be used to define the scope of events. And we'll see how the new Signal event in BPMN 1.1 lets you model patterns you could not model in BPMN 1.0. Fourth of six parts.
