Efficient Use of JCo Connections in Web Dynpro Java
Whenever a Web Dynpro Java application needs data from a backend ABAP system, a Remote Function Call must be made in order to invoke the ABAP based functionality. In order to make RFC calls, Web Dynpro Java makes use of a layer of software called JCo. Unfortunately, this area of Web Dynpro Java programming is frequently misunderstood, and as a result, applications make very inefficient use of the RFC interface. The presentation will show you how to make efficient use of JCo connections and thereby avoid creating ABAP processing errors E.G. lock conflicts.
