The What, Why and How of Resistance

People's reaction to change is the primary factor for success of any implementation. At the end of the day, when the system is configured and up and running, if behaviors don't change to align with the desired vision, then nothing will change. For this reason, it is critical to understand what the impact of change is and how it can foster resistance, why people would resist change, and how to address it depending on how the resistance manifests itself.
