Java Web Service Definition in Web Application Server 6.40
This tutorial is the third part of a series of four tutorials dealing with the creation of Java Web services in SAP Web Application Server 6.40. The easiest way to create a new Web service is to use the Web Service Creation Wizard (Part 1). Web service features - such as the transport binding, the communication type, and the security settings - are assigned with the Wizard using predefined configuration profiles. If you would like to define the Web service settings yourself, you need to create manually a Virtual Interface (Part 2), a Web service definition (Part 3) and a Web service configuration (Part 4).
