Getting Started with JDO
This example demonstrates how to use the SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio to implement object persistence for Java based on Java Data Objects. The simple example introduces the basic features of JDO, such as creating and reading persistent objects. A Web interface is used to pass the parameters to the underlying business logic, and to display the result to the user. The persistent layer is represented by a relational database. The Web application accesses two tables in which data about the employees and the departments in a company is stored.
