GRI Sustainability Reporting Boundary Protocol

Learn more about the unique challenge of deciding what to include in and exclude from your organization's sustainability report. In setting a reporting “boundary,” an organization must look at how its economic, environmental, and social impacts are linked to activities involving a complex network of entities in its value chain. These range from entities wholly or partially owned by the organization, to others where the organization does not have a financial stake such as suppliers, distributors, or consumers.
