How Guide for Developing Connectors using SAP Enterprise Search Webservices for Alfresco and Clearspace
Sap Enterprise Search 7.2 can be integrated with many Data providers. Two such data providers are Alfresco (mainly used for Document management) and Clearspace (community builder for Discussion forums). These Data providers can be integrated with SAP ES 7.2 by creation of the webservices based connectors. There are two important Web-services which have to be implemented by the Data providers to successfully transfer the metadata and actual data for indexing. Most importantly the SAP ES 7.0 will have consolidated and centralized indexed Tables. This PoC is to learn about integrating the two of the most significant open-source Content Management Systems (CMS).
