Hi

I am getting given below error while installing SAP 4.6C on windows 2003.

Error: RFCRSWBOINI_IND_IND CRfcError 2 1038

RFC error

operation/code : RfcOpen()

key : RFC_IO5

status : CODE=CM_PRODUCT_SPECIFIC_ERROR STATUS=??? DATA=??? ID=???

message : connection closed

internal status: IO HANDLE=5 DRV=EXT LINE=416 CODE=5

Error: RFCRSWBOINI_IND_IND InstallationDo 2 1038

Phase failed.

Error: Main {} 2 1038

Installation aborted.

Reinstallation fixed the issue

Please check note 185246.

Also take a look at the Note 162266 under section :

"Steps RFCRSWBOINI_IND_IND and

RFCRADDBDIF_IND_IND"

Hi

Check the host name is correct in the drivers/etc/hosts.

Try R3trans -d ... check trans.log error or post it.

This bit is near at the end of the install right, when it initializes the transport system,

you could just start the system and run se06 manually.
