Using IChannel in a DC

Hi,

I used the IChannel class to send an email in a web dynpro project and it worked.

I tried the same program in a DC. But, whenI executing the Build of the project - I get an error message - "package javax.mail.internet does not exist" (and "package com.sapportals.wcm.util.channels does not exist").

In the NWDS - DC Metadata - DC Definition - Used DC -

I tried to guess which DC I should add ,but with no success.

Please help.

Hi Alka,

Thanks for your help.

I forgot that I need a sharing reference to the km (I use the

email channel of the km).

After I added the sharing reference + the provider you

mentioned - the Built doesn't succeed but when deploying the

application - there is no error on the screen and it seems to work

properly - very weird.

Hi Ruthie,

For using classes from javax.mail.internet package, you will need to add the mail DC from the

SAP-JEE SC under your software component. the provider for this DC is sap.com.
