Issue while doing PGI while delivery

Hi all ,

I am getting a dump while doing PGI while delivery.

details are:

Short text of error message:

Document number 9000 4900000000 2008 was already assigned

Technical information about the message:

Diagnosis

Document number 4900000000 in company code 9000 and fiscal year

2008 has already been assigned.

System Response

Termination of processing.

Procedure

Check document number range 49 in company code 9000 and fiscal year

2008 and correct the number range status if necessary.

Message classe...... "F5"

Number.............. 152

Variable 1.......... 9000

Variable 2.......... 4900000000

Variable 3.......... 2008

Variable 4.......... 49

Variable 3.......... 2008

Variable 4.......... 49

Please advice how to solve this,

Dear Vivek,

Your issue related to the number range maintanence so please go to VN01 transaction then check the number range intervals for the NO.49 for the year 2008.

As per your thread I came to know that some body might changed the Current number in the status of the number range,they have assigned already created number so system is giving this message.

Here there is colomun called Current number

you check that colomun having correct number.This should be the lost document number which you have created.

Hi Murali,

As per your suggestion ,I checked the VNO1 Txn,

Here for series 49 I am having a number range starting from 5*.

But the dump giving the message that 49* already being maintained.I am continously getting this dump.

check the No. range assignment in OMBT tcode.
