Xcelsius Error 2007

Former Member

Connecting to live office and refreshing from a report instance and am getting an error #2007. I even created a blank spreadsheet with my reports and keep getting this error. I am using XIR3.0 versions of LO against SAP ERP with Xcelsius SP1. This was the first time I have used Xcelsius SP1 with live office so I went back and tested a report that worked on the previous version of Xcelsius with the same result...error #2007

Any ideas? or anyone else with the same problem?

hey stranger! Well the error message guide says this about a Live Office error LO 02007:

An error occurred when the file is saving. (LO 02007)

Cause

You may not have the necessary rights to modify objects within the folder

you saved to. The CMS and Web Service may not be accessible. The Office

document you opened may have been removed from BusinessObjects

Enterprise.

Action

Log off and then log back on to BusinessObjects Enterprise through the Live

Office Options dialog box and try again, or close and restart the Office

application and try again. Ask your administrator to grant you the necessary

rights. Verify your network connection by "pinging" the server. If the network

is running properly, log on to the CMC and check if the CMS and web services

are up. Ensure that the office document exists in InfoView

Have you tried refreshing the report in a spreadsheet outside of Xcelsius?

I am logging in as the administrator on the server, and administrator in BOE.

For Live Office, the connection refreshes without any issues. It is only when I import it into Xcelsius that I have problems. I have tried several reports and get the same error. I will login to the CMS and check on the web services today and post again.

thanks for looking into it for me. I really appreciate it.

Hey Ryan, have you been able to find a resolution to this error # 2007? I'm running into the same issue. Thanks

Ok! Finally got it. After trying 10 different things, the problem was in the 'session url' of the live office connection. By default, xcelsius inserts <webserver> and this needs to be updated to the actual server name.

It's also important to note here that Case maters... So for the CDI 6 image it is...
