I edit the initPRD1.sap file but didn´t do the following action:

archive_function = save_delete

Do i have to edit the command line that i use to make the delete of the archive logs?

Kind regards,

Hi Nuno,

please use -a to launch brarchive after the brbackup run.

Then brachive will backup the redologs (and delete them) after brbackup

please add -c after -a for no operator mode if wanted and -u user/pass too.

Hi Brad,

I tried to run the brbackup with the option -a but didn´t read the initPRD1.sap and did not write on the right directory.

I have to do this:

2 Jobs

1 - brarchive -u system/**** -p initPRD1.sap -c

2- brbackup.exe -u system/**** -p initPRD1.sap -c

Is it also possible?

Best regards in advance,

Nuno Silva

Hi,

yes you could do it that way with two jobs.

Or you can do one job :

brbackup.exe -u system/**** -p initPRD1.sap -c -a -u system/**** -p initPRD1.sap -c
