Hi,
I am hoping somebody can help me in relation to creating support desk messages in a 4.6c system that are sent back to a Solution manager 3.2 system.
We are trying to set up the support desk functionality in solution manager 3.2 . We have been able to create messages in our 2 satellite R/3 46c systems which have been successfully sent back to Solman. However we would like an automatic receipt email to be sent to the originator when the message is created in the solman system. Note number 554951 appears to address this issue but after the changes from the note have been made we get the follow error message "Error in local message system: No CRM message exists for Basis message B811041027 Message was not created" when attempting to create a support message.
Can anyone suggest a solution to this problem??

Hi Mark:
SAP Note 691303 describes how to customize an action to automatically send an E-mail to the creator of a notification (Key User) when the notification status is changed from 'open' to 'in process.
To include a link to the Support Desk notification in the e-mail, follow the steps described in SAP Note 733511.
