Spool requests problem

Hi Team,

Could some one clear me on following queries.I'm very new to basis environment and guide me how to correct the spool errors.

On SP01 screen i see below types of spool requests

1)Error

2)problems status text defined as - Completed(Problem)

3)Waiting

4) " - "

5) Completed

For some spool errors i could not find any logs only it says that no log exists for output request and that status would showed as "incorrect"

I see some are in "Waiting status" and status showed as " Frontend Unavailable"

Few of them are showing as "Problem" and when i gone through the error log i see the below infomation

SAP spool error log

Print request processing log

Print request data could not be processed completely

SAP spool error log

=====================

Print request processing log

and the status showing as "completed(problem)..Clear me the diff on problem,Error ,waiting status and " - "

I would appreciate your prompt response.

Hi

some of the status are given below

- : Not yet sent to the host system

+ : Spool requested being generated

Waiting : Output request is not yet processed.

In Processing : Request being formatted.

Printing : Request being printed by host spooler.

Complete : Request was printed successfully ,or transferred to the host spooler.

Problem : The request was printed despite a minor

problem, but the output probably contain

errors.

Error : The spool request could not be printed.

Hope this would give some idea
