Hi,
I want to connect to DTR via command line client to check-in an activity of another user.
When I start the command line client I get a ping error message.
Starting DTR client: dtrshell.bat --username myUser --password myPassword
Error: Ping on server http:///dtr/ returned: 401 Unauthorized
I can ping the server at DOS command line and I have access to the server from within NWDS and Browser as well.
Furthermore I´m an Web AS and JDI administrator.
Can anyone help?
Thanks in advance
Helmut
Hi Helmut,
I am not sure about the command line client. However you can check-in the activities of other users using the process below:
1. Login to this URL http://hots:port/dtr/system-tools/reports/ActivityQuery
2. The user id should have administrator's right.
3. On the selection screen enter the user who's activities you want to check-in.
4. Select one of the activity that is listed by clicking on it.
5. On the page towards the top right hand corner you will have the drop down with one option to check-in the activity. This is only available to admin user.
Hope this helps.
Regards
Sidharth

Hi Helmut,
Just wanted to confirm that the id you are using has admin authorizations.
I am not sure from which version this feature is available. Will try to find out.

p.s. Found this thread
Where Manohar has said that this feature is available from SP12.
