Planned order for Header Matrl in BOM thru Project

Hi ,

we created a project to its activity we transferred te BOM.which is a assembly.there are three child parts which forms the Assy. when we run MRP on Project thru MD51 the material planning is done for the material System generates Planned orders for Child material but for Header material it generates Network order where we think the Planned order shuld be generated for BOM header also.

Pl suggest

Hi ,

When I am running MRP on particular WBS , Planned order for BOM Header material is not getting generated.I changed the strategy for the material as 20 Make to order Production in MRP3 view.

Now it is working fine.

you can also use strategy 21 and can get the desired output.
