SD - Manual entries allowed for item category in the Sales Order

Hi experts,

please do you know any OSS note related to SD, in order to increase the number of Manual entries allowed for item category in the Sales Order (table T184)?

Hello,

I think SAP has already given enough provision in item category determination to make many manual entries of item categories in sales document, I doubt we need to increase the number of the same, not sure whther there is any OSS note release for the same.

Hi there,

Yes it is possible to increate the num of entries of manual item catg in the determination.

The screen layout might have been set to a specific length of characters. You can increase them with the help of ABAPer.

You can try this tough I have personally not done this.
