SAPGUI640 problem!

Hi,

when I execute a new Transaction code in ideas ecc6.0 sapgui640, it appears the error message:Roll-out failed,session terminated !

who could help me ?

Hi Michael,

I'm not so sure this is a SAPGUI issue but looks to me you may have a memory problem.

If you can't connect and use any transactions then you will need to look on the operating system side. Start by looking at your dev_w* trace files(starting with dev_w0) located in /usr/sap/<SID>/<instance>/work If after a while you find you can use transactions, then check system log(SM21), ABAP runtime errors(ST22) and also memory/buffers(ST02). In ST02 look at "Roll area" usage or any signs of high memory usage in "MaxUse", look in "History" too.

"Roll area" is the area in memory used for storing user context eg authorizations. "Roll-out" is when your dialog work process removes this user context data from its memory during multiplexing.

Please change you SAP GUI.

Reason:Support for SAP GUI for Windows 6.40 will end on 14th of October 2008. Please make sure to have upgraded to SAP GUI for Windows 7.10 before this date. There is no extended or customer individual support offered for SAP GUI for Windows 6.40.

Available on SAP support portal.
