hi,

while using t code MB1C,System showing error that

Posting only possible in periods 2008/08 and 2008/07 in company code HPCL

So give me the solution for this.

hi,

Goto transaction code OB52 and check what is the allowed posting period.Change if it is in the past dates.

Then you will be able to post the accounting entries.

I would also like to suggest you to try with the Tcode OPPQ.Enter you plant and check that all the parameters for your plant is maintained.

If not maintained please create that...

Dear Rash...

Kindly check MMRv and MMPV as you are already advised. Incase if its still not allowing you to post , Problem could be with the valuaation area or number ranges assignemetns for the plant.Try with tcodes like FBN1 , OMWD and OKKP to over come the problem that you may face with Plant parameters...

Hi,

Use the T code: MMPV

give your company code and year

select open and close periods

execute

it will close for that month

keep repeating those steps until you reach your current period

this should solve your problem

Hello,

Check your posting period variant assigned to the company code in SPRO --> Finacial Accounting --> Global settings --> Check the company codes details. If the posting period variant is K4, the posting period should be 08/2008 and if it is V3 it should be 05/2008.

If the posting period variant is V3, change it to K4, it should work. But make sure it is not a live or client system.
