HI folks,
Is there a way to set user's password expire automatically every 40 days? Is there any parameter for that or anything? Our corporate policy is to change the password every 40 days, so is there any functionality in MDM CATALOG 2 SP03 PATCH 05?
Thanks,
Thanks guys, my environment is DB2, AIX,
Any idea when MDM 7.1 is releasing?
Thanks,

Hi Afnan,
There is a very nice Presentation on SDN which tells you about SAP NetWeaver MDM 7.1 Preview - New Features at Glance
Please go through the link to get very useful info about the same:
This first part of the series provides you with a complete overview of new and enhanced features that are planned to come with SAP NetWeaver MDM Release 7.1 (release to customer for Ramp-up Q4/2008) and also gives you a general outlook of the strategy and direction of SAP NetWeaver MDM
Hope it helps.

HI ,
there is no way to set user's password expire automatically in MDM.
if your dbase runs on SQL server then you can change the authentication mode from
SQL server authentication mode. to windows nt authentication mode.
create profiles for all the users who logs. into the windows system by setting password (expiry) duration.
hope this helps you.

Rupesh

Hi Afnan,
no MDM 5.5 which is the base of the current catalog release does not include this feature. It will be available in the next MDM 7.1 release.
Best regards
Michael
