JMS Adapter - Connection to a TOPIC

Hi All,

With XI as the JMS Provider can a JMS Adapter connect to a Topic and not a Queue?

From SAP note : 856346

2.1) Does the JMS Adapter support JMS topics (publish&subscribe)?

Answer: No. Currently the JMS Adapter works with JMS queues because 100% Exactly Once (In Order) service quality can only be guaranteed with JMS queues. However, this capability might be planned for introduction at a future release. (no planned time estimate)

Thanks for the reply Bhavesh .. I ran into that note yesterday itself and was kind of surprised to see that they won't have the adapter set up to connect to the topic as well. If they can provide the option for creating topics then they should have allowed the adapter to connect to the topic. What if a scenario requires a publish-subscribe model which is not very uncommon .
