SMD Agent Install on ABAP - showing deleted instance

Hi All,

I am installing SMD agent ( ver 13 ) on Solaris 10 , Oracle 10g and j2ee 1.4 , NW 2004s ABAP 7.0. We had JAVA addin, but we removed completely from the system and it has now running only ABAP instance DV*.

When I was trying to install SMD agent, it could not detect ABAP instance DV*, rather it display as SCSXX instance and the instance type as SCS. We removed completely JAVA from the system, including the profiles, file systems and also bounced the server.

Not sure where sapinstscript is picking SCS information from the system.

Any thought about this ?

I am holding my current installation until I figure out this.

Solution Manager Diagnostics is ONLY for Java instances or -Addins. If you don´t have that any more it won´t find a valid instance and thus picking up the SCS.
