Recording results blocks process order changes

Hi All,

I have an issue with 03 insp. lots, when the user is recording results for 03 insp. lot, the production/process order changes are not allowed for that insp. lot related order(it gives a message that this insp. lot XXXX is being locked by user XXX, I see that it is SAP standard. Is there a work around for this or an OSS which will allow both record results and changing order happens at the same time.

Any suggestions or Idea will of a great help.

Thanks,

Hi,

As per best of my information it is SAP STD. And should not disturb it. It prevent lot of malfunction, discrepancy,manipulation,Mis-data entry, etc etc.....

Hi Shymal,

Thanks for your response. But my question is Why. Why is SAP behaving like that? Because once the task list is assigned to the insp. lot unless you manually re-assign the Task list again, no data will change in the insp. lot other than the qty(as per my understanding). so why should recording be dependent on process order changes or vice versa, ok UD I understand.

Hi Sri,

As per best of my experience (though I haven't that vast experience),

system lock only that Operation under which the Phase having MICs attached.

E.g.

0010 10010001 PI01 RAW MATERIAL DISPENSING DETAILS

0020 0010 QA 10010001 ZP07 RM Dispensing Precommencement Checks

0030 0010 DC 10010001 ZP01 Dispensing LAF Run Time

0040 0010 DC 10010001 ZP01 RM Dispensing Details

0050 10010063 PI01 PM MATERIAL DISPENSING DETAILS

0060 0050 QA 10010063 ZP07 PPM Dispensing Precommencement Checks

0070 0050 DC 10010063 ZP01 PPM LAF Run Time

0080 0050 DC 10010063 ZP01 PPM Dispensing Details

0090 10010004 PI01 CIP/SIP OF MIXING VESSEL COMP-2

0100 0090 MC 10010004 ZP01 CIP Of Mixing Vessel Comp-2

0105 0090 QC 10010004 ZP02 CIP SampleTest of MixingVessel Comp-2

0110 0090 MC 10010004 ZP01 SIP Of Mixing Vessel Comp-2

0120 0090 MC 10010004 ZP01 Nitrogen Flush in Mixing Vessel Comp-2

0130 10010006 PI01 CIP/SIP OF HOLDING VESSEL COMP-2

In above example the Operation 0090, is having MICs under the phase QC (Under Linned One), So while processing inspection 03 inspection lot for Result recording for the MICs under that Phase, System should not disturb the Other Operation Processing.

Hi Shymal,

Thanks for your reply. What I see is, it is locking the transaction not just the operation, for example if you are recording results for operation 0020 for a process order 100001, it is not going into Cor2 for this process order at all.

Thanks,

Hi,

I am not able to understand why you need to run trx Cor2 after releasing the order.

then you must be in need of COR6N only to confirm the phases only.

and it will not block the COR6N.
