Security Audit Log file format

Hello,

I need the information about the format of the security audit log file generated from SM20.

Time, Cat, No, Cl., User, TCod, Terminal, MNo, Text

We need to configure this audit log information to be imported into the central log analyzing system.

When I looked in the audit_++++++++_###### file in /usr/sap/SID/DVEBMGSxx/log there is no clear connection between the information from transaction SM20 and file content.

On the SAPnotes I found the file format for SQL Audit file, but I couldn't find anything about the security audit log file format.

Hi Ruzica,

I have got the similar task in the past - to get and present Security audit files customly formatted. I used FM "RSAU_SHOW_AUDIT_FILES" and other RSAU* FM's to get content of the audit files, converted them using ABAP coding and output in ALV reports. As for your case, you can use the same technics (use FMs "RSAU*" to get data from files, convert them using ABAP and download to file formatted as required by your Central log analyzing system).
