Main Release Downloads are no more available

Hi friends,

At https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/nw-downloads ->

SAP NetWeaver Main Release Downloads are no more available

(SAPNW2004sJavaSP9_Trial also SAPNW_JAVA_700SP14_SR3 etc).

They are all disappeared. What has happened there ?

At long last sap has noticed the installation of those packages has never worked

since it was always broken off always.

CE is Composite Enviroment. SAP NetWeaver 7.1

can I download it simply and install on my PC.

Do you think the installation works fine without any

problems.

At all the other Netweaver Trial Releases (Java)

I was always encountering to problems during the

installation. I think nobody was ever be able to get

it working properly. I think this is the reason for why

they are no more available.

Hi,

Yes you can, i've it on my PC, but you need a good processor Pentium IV or similar, 2GB RAM min.

I've The SP 9 installed on my PC. But some times i've have problems to install too.

Is better to install on a Windows in English.

What's the problem that you've encounter?

what is the difference between

CE is Composite Enviroment. SAP NetWeaver 7.1

and the the common releases like SAPNW2004sJavaSP9_Trial or SAPNW_JAVA_700SP14_SR3 ?

Hi,

CE implements Java EE 5 (EJB 3.0, WS-*, JPA, JSP 1.2 and so...) Its more friendly to Open Source projects like Spring and others and improvements to CAF, Guide Procedures, Visual Composer, Voice and others.

I think that just SDN person can answer this question, try sapnetwork at sap.com with subject Support Question

Maybe it was removed do to grow the number of CE Downloads.
