Program for creating a model is locked by User

We have created a process chain to create the Integration Model and to activate the Integration Model using this prg RIMODGEN. So, This prg we have created variants for different location wise. This process chain contains 13 processes For each location, which is running in parallel. Some time we are getting the error message " Program for creating a model is locked by User

Hi Madhumala,

This type of error comes when one integration model is in edit mode or is being activated/deactivated while some user is trying to access the same Integration model.

So check if there are any parallel activities in the process chain or if any activity is trying to edit an integration model while the activation/deactivation is in progress.

Hi Manjit,

Thanks for your reply but the thing is,

This is because some one was restarting the process in production over the weekend. He did not really have the variant locked as the ABAP cancellation indicates.

Hi Manjit,

This Prob was occured when creating the Integration Models

through process chain.Some programs failed, so, we can ran the failed progs manually.it can display the error prog is locked by user < user name >.

How this prob was occured ?

no one can't access the data at thst time.

please give me the sol...............
