Table template in smartform

Hi All,

In smartforms table template cell is fixed length.I mean if we use long data in perticular cell, is it expand like normal text window? or not? i want it expand like text window. is there any way to do?

Hi,

Templates in Smartforms are not variable... once the length is set then its fixed and it will not expand like text window or whatever in the output. you have to set the length while designing only.

The templates are generally used if and only if the value format and length are fixed.

in the tabel node, under the data tab, uncheck the check box loop at internal table.

Now define ur line type in table ->details tab.

In the main area create a row and add teh line type.

Under the cell u put ur text element. braw boxes around the tabel to make it look like a window.

The table will expand as per ur requirement and will act as a dynamic template.

Template, Table template widths cannot be increased dynamically. The height will be adjusted automatically in Table Template basing on font but width cannot be done.
