phaneendra,
when u say idoc monitoring, where would u wanna monitor ur idoc?
Firsly, i guess this could have been posted in XI forum.
Secondly, to answer ur query:
if ur sending an idoc from an R3; goto we05 in the sender R3 and check the status there of the idoc.
If u want to monitor ur idoc in the XI system:
goto sxmb_moni or idoc type in idx5.

Hi Phaneendra,
the guys here are right, transaction WE05 gives general information on the processing status of IDocs. However, the procedure of calling WE05 (or by the way BD87, which gives you similar information) every time you want to check the status of certain IDocs is quite complex, and often you will miss the information you are reaching to get.
SAP provides an automated IDoc Monitoring functionality in the context of Business Process Monitoring in SAP Solution Manager. This makes it quite easier to check regularly for the correct processing of IDocs on your systems. If you are interested, please refer to the Setup Guides 'Business Process Monitoring' and 'Interface Monitoring' which you can find on SAP Service Marketplace ([https://service.sap.com/bpm |https://service.sap.com/bpm ]--> Media Library --> Technical Information.
Best regards,
Johannes
