dear Friends ,
If i m making any changes (manually) in Std Requirement qty or changing Material code (after clicking on Material/component details) while creating the process (COR1) or production order (CO01),
what is the method to detect or trace the changes made in those line items after saving my order.
thnx-regards
Amitabh .
Hi,
you don't have to use OCM.
See SAP note 390635 it provide a description for user exit implementation to get the changes documents you want for production and process orders.

Sabine

Hi Dear Dhaval,
thnx for ur response,
actually i have done the changes in material qty while creating the order and trying to follow the steps u have mentioned but i cannot see any changes and i need the details about the specific changes made,
for ex. my std required qty is 10 nos but i have changed to 9 nos. so will that change be traced.
or this will be traced only when i implement OCM as suggested by Mr. Bhramankar.
thnx-rgds
Amitabh
Hy Amitabh,
I am not sure why this happen.Let try with what Brahmankar has suggest.
Anither option may be just check by comparing with BOM and Order qty.
There are 1 or 2 user exit are also there which are useful in this type of cases (Thia are Part of OCM)
- COOCM001 which containes EXIT_SAPLCOOCMB_001 Check conflict for change step
- COOCM002 - EXIT_SAPLCOOCM_001 Definition of comparison fields for order comparison
There is one User Exit which is for restrciting the component changes in Production order which is
- PPCO0008 Enhancement for adding and changing components. But this will provide restriction over this.
Regards,
Dhaval
Hi,
For that you need OCM order change managment.
Please refer this link,
[OCM|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_46c/helpdata/en/35/ce8d378d0302cae10000009b38f9b7/frameset.htm]
Come back for further discussion.
