Copy app and deploy error

Hi

I have a project which I deployed to the server.

Next, I copied the application and renamed it.

Trying however to deployed this new project to the server

results in an error.

Only if I remove the original project from the server using the visual administrator can I deploy the copied version to the server.

Can anyone suggest how this can be resolved ??

Hi,

i have also face the same problem.

You have renamed the .project file and project folder name.

What i ahve done is:-

• 1.Renamed the Application.*

2.Renamed the Component

3.Renamed the Window Name

try to change the 1 and 2 nd option if not then go for 1,2,3rd.

I have done all those steps.

After that able to deploy.

hi,

i renamed the .Project file or u want to import the Project into NWDS.

if u renamed the .project file

then rename the component name and window name and application name and the repair the class Path then it will deploy.

if u want to import the Project into NWDS then cpoy ur project into ur work sapce.

here u have tack care of Packge name for that project.

for example if the Package name is sap.comm of that Project than u have copy that Project into sap.com folder.

and then go to NWDS swicth on to Development configurations Prespective -

---

>go to local DC's if it is in Local Dc's--->expand

MyComponents>click on refresh>rightclick on ur Poject-->click on create Project

then Deploy the project.
