How to delete maps

Hi All,

Can we somehow delete the Import Maps and Syndication Maps in MDM.

Please let me know.

Hi Tony,

To add to what Jitesh has said the syndication maps can also be deleted directly wihout using the delete button on the key board.

Syndicator->File->Delete

Then select the map to be deleted and that map gets permanently deleted.

In import manger you will have to use the delete button to delete the map however in Syndicator you are provided with the delete option.

Just a minute difference in deleting the maps in import manager and syndicator. maps.

So thought would share

Hi tony,

Its a bit different in deleting Import and Syndication maps.

Import Maps: Go to File-> Open , select the map and press delete.

This will delete the map which you will select.

Syndication Maps: GO to File->Delete

A box will open which will show all the present maps. Select the maps( by double clicking on them) you want to delete.and press Ok.

This will clear off those syndication maps.

Hi Tony,

Open the Import manager Go to File -> Open.It will display the list of Available maps. Select the one which is to be deleted and press del key. Same for Syndicator

Hi Tony,

Yes you can delete your maps in MDM. For this just open the open maps window you will be able to see all your map names. Just press shift + delete on the map you want to delete. This will delete your map.
