SRM-MDM Caqtalog and Contracts

Hello Guys:

I have the requirement to create SC from products on the SRM_MDM Catalog, these products has a contract assigned to them into the catalog and this contracts reside on ECC. When I transfer the item from the Catalog to the SC, then I get the error saying that the contract number is not valid. This means I need to upload the ECC contracts to SRM in order to shop from the catalog? is there any configuration in order to validate the contract number from ECC and not from SRM or it is necessary to have the contract in SRM?

Hello Hugo,

You need to create the Contract Data in SRM System.

As per my knowledge, R3 contracts and SRM Contracts is maintain seperately in both of the system.

Contract maintenence is depend on to Product Category in SRM. I mean to say they maintain as per the product category.

Contract maintain in SRM System is Local for SRM System, there is no relation with backend R3 System.

I hope this will clear your doubt.

The contract should exist in SRM_SERVER for the validation.
